Meals & Menus

As a bed and breakfast home it is our pleasure to offer a variety of morning meals to accommodate your stay with us. Meals vary from day to day as we take pride in our unique blend of southern cuisine and gourmet flavors. Choose from delicious continental pastries, fresh fruits or full course morning meals. On Sunday mornings enjoy from a special Sunday Brunch menu with champagne.

Below is the menu for the breakfast/brunch meals you may choose from. For those with special dietary needs, we will be happy to work with you on a personal basis. Just let us know prior to your arrival.

Afternoon Tea/Desserts are served 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Each day a selection of pastries, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, coffee and tea are available. Or you may order from our chef's special menu which includes hot meals fresh from the kitchen. Choices from the chef's special menu must be planned prior to your arrival in order to assure freshness and prompt service.

(Menu may change periodically due to seasonal availability)

Includes an array of Freshly Baked Breads such as Zucchini and Banana nut, also Pastries, Cereals, Oatmeal, Yogurt, Fresh Fruit, Coffee, Tea, Juice.

v     THE FISHERMAN'S FAVORITE:

Eggs cooked to order, Cheese Grits, Bacon, Ham or Wild Game Sausage (when available) and Toast with your choice or jellies and jams.

v    THE BAYOU DAYS CHOICE:

Bagels, Cream Cheese, Salmon and Capers, Cheese Grits and Fresh Fruit.

v     SANDBAR SPECIAL

Sweet Potato Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Fresh Fruit, Bacon, Ham or Wild Game Sausage (when available).

v    CHOCTAW LADY'S CHOICE

Eggs Benedict with Steamed Asparagus and Hollandaise sauce with an array of Fresh Fruit.

v    BIRD WATCHER'S DELIGHT

Egg, Ham and Mushroom Quiche seasoned to a delightful taste and served with Bacon or Ham and Fresh Fruit.

v    CAPTAIN'S FAVORITE

Old Fashioned Plantation Skillet Cake, Cranberry Orange Pecan Muffins and Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast served with Fresh Fruit.

v     SUNDAY BRUNCH MENU

Steak and Eggs Benedict, Cinnamon Raisin Bread, Cheesy Hash brown Casserole, Fresh Bouquet of Fruit, Champagne Mimosas, Coffee, Tea, Juice.

PICNIC LUNCHES FOR ALL DAY TRIPS

Picnic lunches for your all day trips may vary depending on your plans for the day and may include the following:

v     Hot Dogs and Hamburgers with Chips, Soft Drinks, Water, Homemade Cookies or Brownies and Fruit.

v     Cold Cut Sandwiches with Chips, Soft Drinks, Water, Homemade Cookies or Brownies and Fruit.

SNACKSAND DRINKS FOR 1/2 DAY CRUISES

v     Trail Mix, Granola Bars, Mixed Nuts,Water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite.

DESSERTS WITH AFTERNOON TEA

Tea Time is from 2:00pm-3:00pm. If you are on property, we welcome you to the main lodge for tea time to enjoy the dessert of the day which may include one of the following:

v     Tea, Coffee, Lemonade, Soft Drinks

v     Heavenly Buttermilk Pie

v     Crème Brulee

v     Miss Jimmie's Homemade Pound Cake

v     Eggnog Bread Pudding

v     Southern Pecan Pie

v    Tea Cakes

WINE AND CHEESE SUNSET CRUISES
